Feast

Youth charity vInspired launches Change Something; offering one lucky young person the chance to have the spotlight on them and the issue they care about the most, at an innovative live event at the Roundhouse this summer, which will include a headline performance from UK rapper Professor Green. The evening will be hosted by Radio 1's Gemma Cairney and T4's Rick Edwards, with guest speakers on the night including Levi Roots, Brooke Kinsella plus more TBC. vInspired Live’s line-up of leading musicians, inspirational speakers and celebrities will join forces with 1,500 young people to promote the young winners campaigning issue, via social media and, importantly, make a change

African Writers
British Library presents UK Writes
The British Library is partnering with the Royal African Society to host the UK’s largest festival of African literature. Africa Writes will bring together established and exciting new writers from across the African continent and its diaspora for a three-day celebration of contemporary African writing. It will be headlined by acclaimed Kenyan novelist and theorist Ngugi wa Thiong’ o. Admission is free for all.

Schools Out Concert
School’s Out Concert
It’s time for primary and secondary school students to party with their favourite stars. School’s Out Concertwill feature performances by Banky W, Dr. Sid, Ajebutter, Burna Boy, Black Magic, LOS, Dammy Krane, K9, BOJ of DRB Lasgidi and Skales. Nollywood star Kate Henshaw will also be in attendance. Attendees will get the chance to win prizes from Pepsi and Samsung as well as take photos with the stars.

Mente De Moda - Bellanaija - July 2013 001
Bang & Kosher presents Mente De Moda
Bang and Kosher is inviting young and aspiring fashion designers, entrepreneurs and digital artists to present at the Mende De Moda, a fashion and art exhibition/mini market event. The event was created to expose young talents in the fashion and art to the world. There will be barbecue bites, cocktails, shawarma, ice cream, waffles and slush. There will be performances by Ben Thomas and Muse. Admission is free for all.
