The Making Season 2 – Shoot 4: “Genesis 2” by sEKu

The Making, a fashion and photography project initiated in 2011 to provide visibility for unknown creative designers and open up distribution and retailing channels for their brands. For its second edition, the creative team behind the project Insigna will bring you designs from 10 designers. At the end of the season, one out of the 10 designers will walk away with a cash prize as well as retail and sponsorship contracts.

Brief Bio of sEKu
sEKu is a brand that embodies happiness. It is characterized by interesting fabric mixes, bright colours and affordability. The brand and its collection are inspired by the Bible and its words. The theme of this collection is Genesis 2. It has to do with the discovery of precious stones in the rivers that flowed in the Garden of Eden and Adam’s cultivation of the land. The pieces are made with beautiful laces in jewel tones and depicts a working woman who enjoys what she does and is at peace with who she is.
