Murder suspect athlete Oscar
Pistorius could make a controversial return to the London Olympic
Stadium as early as July after a judge in South Africa granted
him permission to travel abroad.
A South African Judge today
said Pistorius, who is charged with murdering girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp,
should be allowed to leave the country to compete in international competitions.
It means the Olympic and Paralympic
athlete would be free to attend London's Anniversary Games which take place at
the Olympic Stadium between 26 to 28 July, providing the organisers allow him
to compete.
The third day of the event is
dedicated to showcasing the Paralympic champions of 2012.
Pistorius won a gold medal in the
individual 400m T44 event and another in the 4x100m relay. He also won silver
in the individual 200m T44.
