Jason Collins’ Ex-Fiance Had No Idea He Was Gay

Jason CollinsIt seems that former NBA player Jason Collins lived a down low lifestyle before he revealed his bisexuality to the world via a Sports Illustrated cover story. Collins is officially a NBA free agent, meaning he is not an active professional basketball player until he signed by a NBA team next season. But the media won’t let that little detail keep them from hyping Collins’s confession as “heroic” or history-making. According to gossip website TMZ.com, Collins’ ex-fiancee, Carolyn Moos, had no idea the man she was engaged to for 8 years — and presumably slept with — was gay.
Moos tells TMZ she only found out Collins was gay last weekend — after he shot the cover for Sports Illustrated.

Solomon Akiyesi tells his own side of the story

Solomonooooooooooooooooo aka serial husband!!!!!!!!!!LOL is back again, this time with his own side of the story. In a statement he released to Sunnewsonline.com, he said his first wife, Ezinne was deceitful and greedy, and that if he hadn't left Lilian his second wife, he would have committed suicide. But Uloma, the 3rd woman he attempted to marry, gives him true love and inner joy. See what he said below..
Over the last one week, hell has been let loose on me. I’ve not only suffered verbal attacks, but also vituperations and near fisticuffs, all because of another futile attempt of mine at my journey towards achieving that which I honestly and passionately desire – a peaceful home and family. Social network sites and blogs have been awash with how I left Lilian, my “pregnant” wife, to marry Uloma, my Lagos “mistress” whom they also claimed was pregnant for me. Nothing can be farther from the truth.
Only a mad or cursed man would simply leave his pregnant wife and elope with another one. And lest I forget, I urge you, as you read this, to have an open mind to listen to that which is true instead of taking sides and jumping into wicked conclusions with its attendant wicked insults and uncouth commentaries about how Solomon is running his life and how he is not. I’m not asking for pity or trying to buy anybody’s love at this time.

Nollywood Actor Emeka Ossai - How I suffered Childlessness

He was there at the very beginning of Nollywood. From being an actor, he carved a place for himself as a movie producer and today his name resonates in the motion picture industry in Nigeria.Emeka Ossai, who cut his teeth as a successful model and emerged the Face of Peak before branching into Nollywood, has revealed the reason why after 20 years in the industry, he is scandal free.In an exclusive chat with The Entertainer the movie maker said: “Truth of the matter is that right from when I was young and during my secondary school days, I have always had the female folks attracted to me so I have learned to leave with it and take it in my stride. Even when I was a model, I was never carried away by female fans around me.

That’s the reason why I have never had any scandal. I have learnt to strike a balance between reality and fiction. I have never lost my head just because I have a lot of girls dancing around me.

Book Excerpt: Lessons in Love by Lara Daniels

It’s a glorious Sunday morning. The clock on the wall reads twenty minutes past eight, and as I lay against Jimi’s well-built body, I note to myself my third lesson in love.

It has no shame. It has been three days of enlightenment. Jimi and I have done a lot in this bed, from sex, to talking to eating. And oh, the talking. I’ve talked my head off…talked everything I’ve never said before, not even to my dear sisters with whom I’m very close. And Jimi, bless his heart, has listened to me, not interrupting except to ask questions that’s geared towards him knowing more about me. Yesterday, we went out on the date we missed out on Friday. We went shopping as I had no change of clothes with me. Then, we went to the Galleria and watched a movie – I can’t remember what we watched because we were busy making out, like teenagers at the back of the theatre; then, we went dining at a restaurant very close to Lekki beach. After that, we had a long walk down the shore, and then we headed for Femi Anikulapo’s concert at the shrine which I’ve never been. I learned that Jimi is a huge Fela fan, and that his love for the man has transferred to his Femi, his son.

Jason Collins: “I’m a 34-year-old NBA center. I’m black. And I’m gay”

Jason Collins Boston Celtics gay NBA player
While the sports world buzzed about gay NFL players, a NBA player was planning to take his closet door off its hinges. Jason Collins, center for the Boston Celtics, wrote a coming out letter exclusively for the May 6, 2013, issue of Sports Illustrated magazine. I didn’t set out to be the first openly gay athlete playing in a major American team sport,” he writes. “But since I am, I’m happy to start the conversation. I wish I wasn’t the kid in the classroom raising his hand and saying, “I’m different.” If I had my way, someone else would have already done this. Nobody has, which is why I’m raising my hand.” Collins is obviously implying that there were other gay NBA players in the closet with him.

Students flock to Georgia high school's first EVER racially integrated prom

Standing up: Students at Wilcox County High School brought about the integrated prom after they launched a social media campaign
For the first time in the history of Wilcox County, Georgia, black students and white students danced arm-in-arm at prom on Saturday. Nearly 60 years after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that segregation in public schools was illegal, half of the students from rural Wilcox County High School ended their community's tradition of segregation after raising money for an integrated prom dance. The event had all the trappings of a normal high school prom, with couples arriving together in limousines, girls decked in frilly dresses, and badly-synchronized group dances to modern dance hits. Not all of the couples were integrated. Mostly, black students dated black students and white students dated white students, but all of the teens said that the night held a special significance.
'I didn't agree with the fact that they separated blacks and whites. so I just put my foot down and said, "No, I'm not going to and all-white prom and I'm not going to go with somebody to an all-black prom, it's just not going to happen,'" one student, a white girl with a black prom date, told WMAZ-TV

'Revelation about Daniel and Doris'' By JMK

THIS EMAIL WAS SENT TO SDK AND ANOTHER BLOGGER AND IT IS TITLED ''Revelation about Daniel and Doris''
Hello,

I have stood by in the last couple of days to see this drama about Stella Damasus and Daniel Ademinokan unfold. I have read countless blogs, reviews and comments from all over the world and I have come to the conclusion that people have no clue what they are talking about.

I LIVED WITH DANIEL AND DORIS FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS SO I CAN TELL YOU FACTS! Not hear say or assumptions. I will even mention names that can be verified. Let us not be distracted by this stunt that uncle Daniel just pulled with the party and the gift. Let us focus on the root of this matter. When we know the foundation, we will know how to direct our anger and "insults". I lived with Daniel & Doris because my sister was close friends with aunty Doris and at that time I needed accommodation in Lagos because my parents were based in the south south part of Nigeria. I lived with them when they were still on Salami Street in Mende, Maryland, Lagos and even when they moved to their Idowu Akindele Crescent residence in Magodo GRA, Lagos.
Daniel was a good man and the perfect husband to Doris and he made her feel special in every way. He always spoke to her nicely and was quick to defend her in many ways. He supported her career and was determined to make Doris rise to the top above her colleagues. He used to say that a lot and felt she deserved to be at the top. He would always say, "Dem Toyin, Funke, Dayo and co no fine pass you. Dem nor act pass you. I have to position you at the top". He did everything in his power to put her her there. Daniel cannot come and boast to people, especially me that he single handedly financed all of Doris' films. HE CAN'T. He was responsible for getting the finances but it was not HIS money entirely that did films like ONITEMI and OMO IYA KAN. The marketer named EPSALUM financed these films. I know that Daniel may have added about 10%-20% of his cash at some point but it was almost insignificant. The only film he did with his money for her 100% was the film ASIRI. So if he ever claims he did those films for her....quote me or ask EPSALUM.
Doris was a good wife in her own right. She supported her husband's passion to change the industry. She encouraged him into making Yoruba films which he really didn't want to get into. She enjoyed the fact that out of most of her colleagues, she was the one that had a STEADY home with a young and successful guy...ambitious man too. She was the minister of finance. That's what Daniel used to call her in the house because he always gave her all the money to handle. He would bring money home an hand it ALL over to her because she was efficient in money management, unlike him who was a free giver and really had no respect or regard for money! Whether he had enough or not, he never did care so much about cash. NEVER!
For the 4 years that I lived with them, not for ONE day did I ever hear them raise their voices at each other in arguments or quarrels. You would see them come out of their bedroom sometimes with weird expressions and we would all know they just fought but you would NEVER hear Daniel raise his voice. NEVER!

One thing that the world never know was how much both families NEVER wanted them to get married. Doris' parents didn't like Daniel and Daniel's mother (in particular) never liked Doris. She was against the relationship from the beginning. She is known to be a heavy prayer warrior and she said God was against the marriage from scratch but Daniel never listened to his mother.
Now, the HORRIBLE thing about Daniel is his stubbornness and hard headed nature. He never listens to people and if he believes in something, it would take a manifestation of the 10 plagues in Egypt to change his mind. He is an extremely stubborn and very determined person. Which was one thing I hated about him. Yes he is nice, loving to his family and friends but do not think for a minute that you can convince him easily to change his mind when he has already formed an opinion or decided on what he wants to do.
He went on with the marriage. His family believed that Doris trapped him with the baby but that is a big lie. I have always disagreed with his mother on that note: I respect the woman but Doris DID NOT trap Daniel with a baby. They were already living together for 3 years before David was born. So the woman should get her facts straight. Her son (I believe) wanted the child as much as Doris did.
I think along the line Uncle Daniel started to realize that in many ways he and Aunty Doris were different. Much different than he had thought. I believe Doris started to relax on several things because she felt she had her husband and he was going nowhere. He was always very expressive about his love, she was the opposite. He would run around the house and want to play love games with her but she thought that was a waste of time and energy. I personally experienced that with them on several occasions. I guess Doris was more concerned about how people perceived the relationship on the outside and not how sweet it really was on the inside. She always wanted pictures of them out there. Daniel was more concerned about making his marrige very "Oyinbo-ish" because that's who he has always been.
At some point I started to feel that Daniel started getting tired of her excuses about being expressive with her feelings even in the house. I think it suddenly dawned on him that they were from two different worlds. Their command of English was too far apart, their ideologies were different, approach to situations, educational background, family, upbringing, etc. I believe she just stopped being his wife and turned herself into a MAMA in the house. I remember him buying her all sorts of short clothes and sexy outfits from the US. I thought they were too daring but he didn't mind.
The marriage meltdown goes as far back as 2009. I know that I heard them talking in hush tones a few times about how sex was a problem in the marriage. I know for a fact that Daniel used to joke about it around the house but you could see he was serious in those jokes. He was always clowning about how he had to fill forms like an embassy to have sex with his wife. I know at some point it was so bad that for almost 6 months they didn't do anything. One thing I can tell you for a fact is that in the course of their marriage, Daniel never cheated on Doris. This was a known fact and EVERYONE knew how crazy he was about his wife but really....is lack of sex enough to ruin a marriage?
Some people Daniel confided in where his bosom friend ALEX EFFIONG who was there when Daniel and Doris hooked up originally. I know I overheard Daniel and Alex talking about it in the editing studio at the BQ in Magodo. Two other people I know for a fact that Daniel confided in when he was in America where his friends BUKKY EBUN of Nollywood View and 'LAMIDE DAVIES TALABI. You can ask them because they are on Facebook. These two people will tell you the whole story and how they tried to step in to advice. Even Bukky came to the house in Magodo at some point when she visited Nigeria. She came with KAHA the singer. That's how I found out. He was desperate to save his marriage that's why he took drastic steps to talk to people.
I blame Doris in some ways because she just relaxed, trusted that everything was OK and that her marriage was going to last forever. In marriage, you gotta keep working to make it good.
What annoyed Daniel the most was when he found out his wife had a shop that he didn't even know about. He found out from outsiders and when he confronted her, she said she was trying to surprise him. That really pissed him off! He was enraged! This was when he grabbed his son and left! Daniel was a very, very patient man but I hate the way he did it. He just left!
While everyone was celebrating the happy lives these people shared, the marriage was already over!! They were just patching things up! They kept holding on because of "What people would say". Doris also messed up in certain ways because she could not fight to keep her man. She was too comfortable and never imagined that Daniel would get frustrated and leave. Not in this lifetime. I could see it in his eyes everyday that he was just tired of struggling to make it all work.
Look for people like ALIU SHORINMADE who was his personal assistant for 5 years. These were the people who knew Daniel very well and how he avoided women like a plague. Let them tell you facts. Let them tell you truths. Stella Damasus did not break up Doris Simeon's home. That home was scattered long before Stella came into the picture. I believe Daniel got the attention that he craved so much at home in someone he considered a friend and sparks flew.
When i read that Daniel moved to Abuja and was being taken care of by a woman, I laughed because the people saying this have no idea who Daniel is. He is so arrogant in certain ways that he would rather die of hunger than take a dime from any woman. HE IS THAT KIND OF MAN! He will be too embarrassed to take a dime from any woman. The dude is a workaholic....I give that to him. Films, Fashion, Documentaries, Writing, Photography, Music, Publishing, Visual Effects, name it! He is a master at them all.

There is so much I know and if all these names I mentioned here deny anything...they are lying! I can open a big can of worms!
Look for ALIU and ask him to tell you about the girl BLESSING that DORIS brought into their house that stayed for almost 3 years. Daniel sent her away from the house over 4 times and Doris kept bringing her back. Why? Nobody knows! Can never be explained! He NEVER WANTED THE GIRL IN THE HOUSE but she kept bringing her back. We know that at some point Daniel discovered that this girl was sexually abusing Daniel's son DAVID! WHAT DID DORIS DO ABOUT IT???
If all the parties involved think I am lying, let them confront me! Let them deny it! Daniel cannot deny it! Doris cannot Deny it! Aliu cannot deny it! They know the truth!! There is a girl called SUNMISOLA that used to visit the house some weekends then. She was close to Doris...find out and ASK HER TOO!
All I can say is that Daniel and Doris deceived EVERYONE for a long time about how good the marriage was even when everything was BITTER and SOUR! So those hating on Stella are really wasting their time because STELLA DAMASUS DID NOT RUIN DORIS' MARRIAGE. Daniel and Doris know what scattered them that led to their divorce in 2011. If any of them claim I'm lying, let them challenge me.

I am ... JMK.

Toolz’ Thoughts: Slaying Your Green-Eyed Monster

I stumbled across this article ‘She Ain’t All That’: How My Own Insecurities Made Me Unable to Compliment Other Women on Madam Noire and I thought the article could very well have been written for and about Nigerian women. The truth in it was powerful, and it made me remember an incident that took place a week or so ago. I was having dinner with a friend, and we bumped into one of her colleagues. The colleague sat at our table and we got talking. I had noticed her as soon as she had walked into the restaurant because she had a fantastic figure. The kind of figure a lot of women dream of – voluptuous, but firm in the right areas (No Homo by the way). While we chatted, I told her that she had an incredible figure, and she seemed a bit surprised. I worried that she thought I was making a pass at her, so I hurriedly explained that I’m trying to up my work-out regime, and had hoped she wouldn’t mind sharing a few tips. Later she admitted that she has been a bit shocked because she rarely got compliments from other women. This incident and reading the article had me thinking: Why is it that some (not all) Nigerian women find it hard to compliment each other?

Female rivalry has existed since the beginning of time…in different species and races, but I sometimes think that the rivalry can be quite vicious when it comes to Nigerian women.

Although I made a conscious effort to stop doing it a while back, I will admit that every now and then I will mentally tear down another woman who I perceive to be a threat to make me feel better about myself.

Lebanese Man Found Dead at His Nigeria Home after Robbery Operation

Caretaker Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour confirmed the death of a Lebanese citizen in Nigeria on Saturday, the state-run National News agency reported. “Adel Jamil Bejjani was beaten to death by unidentified men during a robbery operation,” he told NNA. Mansour noted: “Based on President Michel Suleiman's recommendation, we have contacted the Lebanese embassy in Nigeria's Abuja and we have been informed that Bejjani's body will be transferred to Lebanon on Monday.”
“The embassy will follow-up on the investigation with concerned Nigerian authorities.” LBCI television had said earlier on Saturday that Bejjani was killed at his home in Nigeria during a heist operation. The same source elaborated: “The 29 years old man worked in the domain of hotel management in the African country for less than a year.”
“He was planing on leaving Nigeria to reside permanently in Lebanon on May 5.”
Attacks on Lebanese citizens in Nigeria have been frequent in recent years. On March 27, the NNA revealed that three Lebanese were kidnapped in Lagos, a rare case of expatriate kidnapping in Nigeria's commercial center.
Voice of Lebanon radio (93.3) said the kidnappers have asked for ransom while the NNA did not report how the kidnapping occurred.

Chris Brown's father Clinton Brown thinks his relationship with Rihanna could end in tragedy

Leave her: Chris Brown's dad Clinton wants him to settle down with someone more wholesome

It's a fact of life that sometimes parents don't approve of their offspring's choice of partners.
And it seems like Clinton Brown is less than keen on his son Chris' girlfriend Rihanna.Speaking to The Sun, Clinton revealed that he thinks the pair are too similar to maintain a steady relationship, and their union could end in tragedy. Clinton also hinted that in his opinion, the 2009 row that led to Rihanna being beaten by Chris wasn't one sided. He said: 'One has to assume because they are back together that it wasn't one-sided. 'You just have to imagine that it was a circumstance in which they both had a disagreement.' However, the fact that the incident, or more accurately the photograph of Rihanna's bruised and bleeding face after it happened, is still very much at the front of people's minds. Clinton, 48, acknowledges this and thinks that the intense public scrutiny that follows the couple's every move will also make it hard for their love to thrive. In his opinion, so too will their similar natures. As far as he is concerned, it might be fun to go out with someone edgy and sexy, but a match between a spontaneous person and a logical one is the true recipe for a long long-term, stable partnership. He revealed to the paper that he wishes Chris would date a different singer. 'I personally liked Jordin Sparks. She's a wholesome young lady, very pretty. Of course, a lot of the times we don't want the nice, conservative types.'

Doris Simeon says “NO COMMENT” on Stella Damasus Rumoured Marriage to Her Estranged Husband Daniel Ademinokan

SDK wrote on her blog!!!!!!!

Beautiful Actress Doris Simeon is currently the centre of attention as her Ex hubby Daniel Ademinokan has supposedly Married another controversial Actress Stella Damasus. The news went viral when it came out and though I am still doing some fact finding,I decided to call Doris today to hear what she as to say regarding everything that has happened.
I wanted to know if she and Stella were friends at all?
I wanted to know when exactly the 'snatching' started?
I wanted to know how she felt/feels?
I wanted to know why she didn't do anything to stop what had happened when it was happening?
I asked so many questions but Doris told me in a voice which sounded full of pain that at this time she just wants to concentrate on her work and forget about what has happened because ''It has already happened.......''

She kept saying ''No comment''......The fifth..

Kanye West agrees to be musical guest on Saturday Night Live if they lay off Kardashian bashing

Pregnant Kim Kardashian reveals bulging baby bump in a sarong as she relaxes in Mykonos with family

Growing still: Kim Kardashian showed off her baby bump as she holidayed in Mykonos, Greece, with her family on Friday
She's been hiding her baby bump under several hit and miss outfits over the past few weeks, but jet-setting Kim Kardashian has finally revealed her belly.
Kim showed off her tummy as she finally got time to relax with her family on one last pre-baby holiday. The Kardashian clan arrived on the Greek island on Mykonos on Thursday and it wasn't long before Kim was relaxing in a sarong. However, it wouldn't be the same relaxation one would expect on a normal holiday as the E! camera crews were also in town, capturing the trip for the new series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
With her brunette hair in plaits, the 32-year-old was spotted walking around the grounds of her villa in a green printed sarong with her large baby bump protruding from her green sarong.
While Kim was happy to stay on dry land, her sisters Kourtney. 34. and Khloe, 28, were stripping down to their swimsuits for a boat trip, complete with a camera crew.

Dele Momodu: A Toast As Michael Adenuga ‘The Guru’ Clocks 60

Ladies and gentlemen, please join me as I raise a toast to an African icon, business titan, managerial wizard and philanthropic legend, Dr Michael Adeniyi Agbolade Isola Adenuga, as he clocks 60 on Monday, April 29, 2013. He has done more than enough to justify each of those adjectives. On a personal note and as a journalist, I’ve had the rare opportunity of following the incredible story of this extremely gifted man for the past 22 years, the reason I’m qualified to be a self-appointed toastmaster today. It is difficult to imagine that Adenuga was already a wealthy, accomplished man before he attained the age of 40. This obviously gave rise to all manner of speculations about his source of wealth and the perceived strength of those behind him. This riddle made me more determined to find out as much as possible about this man who seemed to have built an impregnable wall around himself and his activities. The more I dug into his life, the clearer I discovered that his talismanic weapon was no more than an almost manic addiction to work. He had a simple and straight forward mantra; no mountain is too difficult to climb. Dr. Adenuga’s success simply teaches the world about the virtues of hard work. Please click to continue reading.

HUSBAND FOUND GUILTY OF MOLESTING WIFE

“He would still be guilty if he did something she asked him not to, a High Court panel led by England and Wales’ most senior judge decreed. A man would no longer be said to have consent because he ‘deliberately ignored’ the limitations put on sex, it was decided. The ruling follows a test case involving a wife who claimed her husband broke their agreement by failing to withdraw. The judges backed her, saying she ‘was deprived of choice relating to the crucial feature on which her original consent to intimate intercourse was based’.
They added: ‘Accordingly, her consent was negated.’
The couple, who wed under Islamic law, Were Intimate after agreeing he would withdraw because she was ‘adamant that she did not want another child’. But the husband went back on his word, making her pregnant.
He gave her ‘no chance to object’ and insisted ‘I’ll do what I want’, the panel, led by lord chief justice Lord Judge, heard.
Prosecutors originally decided not to charge him with molestation or intimate assault, claiming it would be ‘impossible to prove’ his actions were not ‘spontaneous’. They were told to review their decision after the judges decided it fell ‘within the statutory definition of molestation’. However, Lord Judge said that men who tried in vain to withdraw in time should not be pursued for molestation, adding: ‘These things happen – they always have and they always will. ‘No offence is committed when they do. They underline why withdrawal is not a safe method of contraception.’

The ruling came a day after a small rise in the number of successful molestation prosecutions, was revealed.
Campaigners say just 15 per cent of victims report attacks.”

Kelly Rowland
R&B beauty Kelly Rowland often goes without makeup, which explains why her skin has that natural, healthy glow.
“I started wearing makeup at 14 for Destiny’s Child,” Rowland tells People magazine. “I remember the first time I saw my lashes with mascara on them – it was my favorite thing. For me, makeup reminds me of work. Without it, I feel natural and untouched.”
Rowland’s album, Talk a Good Game, is set for release in June.

IYANYA: WHY HE THINKS DATING A CELEB WON'T LAST

In an Interview published by PM news, Iyanya had a few things to say about his relationship status..

What is the relationship between you, Yvonne and Tonto now?
Yvonne is my hommie, we are cool people even till now. Tonto is my padi, we are cool.

Who is the lady in Iyanya’s life?
Nobody. It’s not like there can’t be anybody but my job would not allow it. It’s hard to find someone that will be with you and actually take the pain, stand the rain. I feel like anyone I’ve tried to have a relationship with always says “no, I can’t”.

Can you date a celebrity?
I can date anybody but the thing about dating celebs is that it would most likely not last. The only way it may last is if they are not successful. But if they are both successful, when people see them together, they would focus on them. That alone has an effect on the relationship because they won’t be free.

Actor Omar ordered out of country because his good looks would drive women to distraction

Criminal looks: The internet is awash with speculation that this is the man who was kicked out of Saudi Arabia for being too handsome
The internet is awash with speculation that this is the man who was kicked out of Saudi Arabia for being too handsome. Omar Borkan Al Gala, a poet, actor, and photographer from Dubai, is reported to be one of three men removed from a festival in Riyadh earlier this month by religious police in the conservative Islamic kingdom. The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices in Saudi - where there are strict rules governing interaction between men and women who aren't related - had the men deported back to Abu Dhabi in case women should 'fall for them'.
A report in Arabic newspaper Elaph which said: 'A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission [for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices] members feared female visitors could fall for them.'
His identity was revealed by Jezebel who reported that he had been deported back to United Arab Emirates.
Although it has not yet been confirmed that he was one of the men, Al Gala has posted a link to the original news report on his Facebook page, along with statements such as: 'The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.'

Nigerian model has her own Naomi Campbell moment as she goes flying on catwalk

A model falls while showing off an outfit by Kinabuti in Lagos, Nigeria, on Thursday, April 25, 2013
It is the moment every model dreads - taking a tumble on the catwalk in front of the fashion pack and photographers. But at least they're in good company, with this model on a Lagos runway enduring her own Naomi Campbell moment yesterday with cameras there to catch the look of horror on her face. The model went head over heels as she walked in platform shoes and a knee-length printed dress for Nigerian fashion house Kinabuti in front of invited guests at the Italian consulate.
The accident, proving walking up and down a catwalk is far harder than some may think, will bring to mind Miss Campbell's own fall as she modelled for Vivienne Westwood in vertiginous heels at Paris Fashion Week in 1993.

Meet the Glo X Factor Judges! Nigerian Legend Onyeka Onwenu, Rapper M.I. & Ghana’s Reggie Rockstone

Nigerian telecoms giant Glo has announced the judges for X Factor, the world’s biggest singing reality TV show, which the company has brought to Africa for the first time.

According to the Globacom representative, “the judges would be unveiled today at a ceremony in Lagos. Their first assignment will be to audition contestants who scaled the first audition held two weeks ago in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.”
He revealed further that the final list of judges was arrived at after thorough screening and assessment of the pedigree of all the artistes earlier shortlisted for consideration for the assignment. “The X Factor is the number one singing reality TV show in the world and this is the first time it has come to Africa courtesy of Globacom. We therefore had to ensure that we selected judges who match the profile of the show and who will help deliver the objectives of the show”.
